π‘ Money, sweat, knowledge β and perfectly implemented client-first Webflow projects. That is exactly what it takes to Client-first expert to become!
I have some very special news today: I have the Client-First Expert Certification successfully completed β and am therefore officially the first certified client-first expert in all of Germany! π
What is client-first?
Client-first is a powerful Webflow naming and structuring system, developed by Finsweet. It makes for a clear, scalable and efficient structure in Webflow projects β an absolute game changer for high-performance websites. Anyone who works with Webflow knows the problem: Without a well-thought-out structure, things quickly become messy. Client-first creates order and ensures long-term maintainability.
Why Expert Certification?
I've been working with the Client-First Framework, and as Finsweet finally the opportunity to official certification created, it was clear to me: I want to get certified!
If you look at the list of previous experts, it even seems as though I am the first client-first expert in all of Germany β a huge honor and motivation to share my knowledge even more with the community.
The audit process
The certification was Not a sure-fire. In order to be able to participate at all, I first had to pay for the exam β without knowing exactly what was in store for me.
π Part 1: Theoretical test
First I had to buy an approx. 60-minute knowledge test complete, in which 60 questions related to Client-First System were asked.
π Part 2: Project Review
After the theory came the practical part: I had to submit three Webflow projectsWhich then from Finsweet Thoroughly tested were. Here, it was precisely analyzed whether my projects were structured cleanly, according to Client-First Standards are structured and optimally optimized for performance and scalability.
Quite a lot of variables β but I took on the challenge. Fortunately, the Finsweet team particularly enjoyed my work and thanks to my structured projects and consistent use of Client-First I have successfully passed the certification! π
Die Expert certification covers all important aspects of Client-First from β from clean structuring to performance optimization. The following topics were tested particularly intensively:
β Expert level naming conventions β How to a clearly understandable, scalable and reusable class system builds up.
β Efficient spacing strategies β Why a sophisticated distance management is essential for consistent design and improved maintainability.
β Typography management with utility classes β How to manage font styles efficiently and make good use of global classes.
β component architecture β The correct structuring of Sections, containers, and layouts for maximum flexibility.
β Performance & scalability β Best practices for webflow projects easy to expand and fast charging to design.
The exam was Not just a theory test β she asked practical knowledge, which can be used directly in real Webflow projects.
My conclusion
π‘ If you already have in-depth knowledge and your workflows are optimized, certification is the next logical step β it validates your expertise and takes you to a new level.
Die Client-First Expert Certification not only helped me to further sharpen my Webflow processes, but also to expand my skills in a targeted manner. It was demanding, but that was exactly why it was so valuable.
And of course it makes me particularly proud when first certified client-first expert in Germany to be officially recognized! (screenshot available)
