This Webflow checklist helps you deliver top-notch Webflow websites to your customers. By using this checklist, you can keep an eye on all important aspects and your employees can effectively take over quality control using this tool. 1. Add favicon

A small detail that is often overlooked but makes a big difference. Make sure that your favicon perfectly reflects your website's identity.

2. Remove Webflow brand

Nothing against Webflow, but your website should have your branding on it. Remove Webflow branding to make sure your site only has your handwriting.

3. Optimize code

Reduce the size of your code and check the “Advanced Publishing Options” correctly to ensure optimal performance.

4. Add title tags and SEO descriptions

Giving every page a meaningful title and a crisp SEO description — that's the key to being found by search engines.

5. Add Open Graph images

Make your social media presence even more appealing by adding custom Open Graph images for your main pages.

6. Embed fonts locally

Local fonts are not only stylish but also improve load times. Make sure everything is locally integrated.

7. Set up an analysis tool

Track your website's success by setting up an analytics tool. Numbers don't lie!

8. Create legal texts

Provide legal clarity by creating all necessary texts. Legal compliance is a must.

9. Review Webflow Agreement

Make sure that your customer has signed the Webflow Agreement Clear agreements are the key to good cooperation.

10. Conduct a Webflow audit

Go through each page until you see no more errors. A clean audit is a sign of professional work.

11. Clean up unused animations and CSS classes

Less is often more. Remove unnecessary animations and CSS classes for optimal performance.

12. Create 301 redirects (if necessary)

Diversions can work wonders. Create 301 redirects when pages have been changed or moved.

13. Exclude pages from Google

Determine which pages should not appear in Google search results and exclude them.

14. Set up cookie banners

Pay attention to data protection! Set up a cookie banner to get user consent.

15. Connect Google Search Console and upload a sitemap

Connect your site to Google Search Console and upload the site map. This will keep you in Google's field of vision.

16. Clean up pictures

Less is more — keep only the images that are really needed to optimize load times.

17. Get customer feedback

Let your customer take a look at it. At the end of the day, he must like it!

18. Cross-browser and device testing

Click through your website on various browsers and devices. A consistent experience is critical.

19. Save drafts for non-public subpages

Sometimes you just need the finishing touch. Save subpages as drafts until they're perfect.

20. Publish a website 🚀🎉

And last but not least — make your website live! Make sure that the WWW variant is set as the default.
